As the nutraceuticals industry calls for natural compounds, including botanical extracts, to reach pharmaceutical-grade purities two manufacturing companies, RotaChrom Technologies (developer of the world’s first industrial scale Centrifugal Partition Chromatography technology) and Heidolph Instruments (premium laboratory equipment producer) announced the formation of Global Allied Processing Solutions (G-APS). G-APS will have a strategic focus on the global organic material industry, in areas such as establishing best practices for the processing of raw materials through education and innovative equipment offerings.
 
The two companies formed G-APS through a shared vision and understanding of the global processing marketplace, including industries such as pharmaceuticals, natural extracts, food and beverages, cosmetics, and fragrances. The organization’s goal is to provide businesses with one-stop-shop access to multiple solutions to solutions for their processing and manufacturing infrastructure needs, with a specific focus on extracting and purifying botanically-derived compounds and molecules.
 
G-APS’ mission is to work in collaboration to avoid potential overhead costs and risks when pairing machines that have not been previously tested in manufacturing settings.

The combination of technologies offered by the two founding member companies resulted in an efficient system based on collaborative working principles, which G-APS will expand upon with the addition of more member companies. The organization is now installing showrooms in multiple locations in Europe and North America, with more information anticipated when the installations are ready for public access.
